How Will You Change The World ?

Don’t ask yourself what the world needs: ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
— Howard Thurman

Awakening the Dreamer-- Changing the Dream * FREE

An educational program TO EXPLORE challenges facing humanity

"Awakening the Dreamer" is a transformative, educational program that explores the challenges facing humanity at this critical moment in time and the opportunities we as a human family have to create a new future.

In this half-day symposium, we look squarely at the state of the world––where we are and how we got here––and then explore what role each of us can play in bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet.

For the last century, the developed world has been consumed with how to make life better for ourselves and our families. In many ways, we have done that successfully. However, despite our good intentions, we have also created some problems along the way. As our knowledge of the world increases and we gain in interconnectedness, we are beginning to understand that some of our choices have come at a high cost to our own and other societies, to the planet and its resources, and to the sentient beings with whom we share this planet. With our new found knowledge, it's important to be aware that the manner in which we live out our own purpose include concern for the impact it has on other people and for the planet itself. None of us lives without impacting other people, other sentient beings, and the planet at large. We encourage you to consider how your life choices, your actions, and your intentions can impact the world, and with awareness and action, strive to leave it better than you found it.
